Types of Baseball Display Cases
Baseball - a bat and ball game played between two teams of nine players each, who take turns batting and fielding. The batting team attempts to score runs by hitting a ball that is thrown by the opponents’ pitcher with a bat swung by the batter, and then running counter clockwise around a series of four bases: first, second, third, and home plate. A run is scored when a player advances around the bases and returns to home plate.
The game ball – Baseball, unlike football is made of rubber-coated cork and then surrounded by three layers of wool yarn and a winding of cotton or polyester yarn. This core is then coated in latex adhesive or rubber cement and covered with cowhide. Like every other balls, baseball is important to its’ game. In facts, the game wouldn’t have existed if not for the ball, as the ball is used to name the sport. Thus the ball should be handled with care by using baseball display cases
DESIGNS OF BASEBALL DISPLAY CASES
Our Baseball Display Cases come in different designs;
Single Baseball Display Case- The most basic option is single baseball square display case. With this case, the ball is protected inside an all glass cube. This type of baseball display case puts your autographed baseball on full display while protecting it from ultra violet rays.
Wall Mounted Baseball Display Case- This type is a nice option for a collector that only has space on their wall to display an autographed baseball. They tend to be a little bigger than a basic table top case because of the wider Premium Wood profile. It also features ultra violet protection for the ball. They block anywhere from 50% to 99% of ultra violet rays. Thus, apart from putting them in your living room, they can be displayed in office for all to admire.
Multi-Baseball Display Case- This is where things get more complex as there are almost unlimited options when it comes to multi-baseball display cases. They can be made to hang on walls or sit on desks or shelf. The wall mounted multiple baseball cases can be in our standard wall mounted shape or our cabinet style with a hinging door. Whatever type you need, if you have the right budget, you can get it. Again, the quality of materials and any other extra features will cause these cases to differ in price.
Baseballs have a direct relation to their sport. They are also very cheap and small, so storage is basically not an issue. Because of its size, there is a tendency to just put a ball on a shelf and forget about it. There, it will gather dust, become dirty and the autograph will fade away. To avoid this – a baseball display case is essential.
